The mission of Hutchinson’s Municipal Liquor Store, Liquor Hutch, is to offer the best possible variety of products at a competitive price and to conduct the business of selling alcoholic beverages in a manner that best supports the values of our community.
Please note that no tax dollars are used to support the Liquor Store. As a City enterprise fund, the Liquor Hutch is completely self supporting. All expenses are paid with Liquor Store revenues and net profits are then transferred to the City General Fund.
It’s important to shop at Liquor Hutch! In 2018, your Municipal Liquor Store contributed $500,000 to the City of Hutchinson General Fund.
Annual Liquor Store transfers support community programs, roads and parks, as well as necessary services such as our police and fire departments.
